Ensembles
 
FRSPA Ensembles provide students with a valuable opportunity to apply their skills by playing in a full band setting.  For example, in a private lesson, a student may learn how to play a pentatonic scale on guitar.  In Ensemble, that same pentatonic scale will be used to build a guitar solo.  A drummer might learn a groove in their lesson but Ensemble will allow them to incorporate that same groove with fills and dynamics to complement a full song.  Ensembles teach work ethic, team building, rehearsal techniques, open mindedness and live performance skills.  All Ensemble instructors have extensive playing and coaching experience.  Instructors also insist on maintaining high standards of performance and commitment for all Ensemble members.  It is the adherence to these high standards that helps students prepare for the real world – musical or otherwise.
